Healthy Eating for Kids | Learn Fruits & Vegetables With Cute Dog | Cub Wings Kids Learning Videos

Healthy eating for kids is so important and in today’s learning adventure Mr Albie has a special guest Buckwheat, a cute dog that helps the Cubs learn fruits and vegetables to encourage healthy eating habits.

Some of the Cubs express that they don’t like eating certain fruits and vegetables, so Mr Albie and Buckwheat encourage the Cubs by singing a Cub Wings fruits and vegetables song.

However, Buckwheat is feeling tired and hungry and doesn’t want to finish singing the song. Mr Albie suggests to eat 10 different fruits and veggies in order to get enough energy to sing the song and at the same time, to help encourage kids to eat their fruits and vegetables.

The 5 vegetables Mr Albie and Buckwheat eat are broccoli, carrot, pumpkin, cucumber and corn. After eating 5 different vegetables, Mr Albie and Buckwheat discuss which vegetables they love eating. Buckwheat transforms into the 2 fruits he loves to eat.

The 5 fruits Mr Albie and Buckwheat eat are banana, apple, blueberry, orange and pineapple. While eating the orange pieces, Buckwheat realizes he doesn’t like the taste of oranges. As there are so many different types of fruits and vegetables, kids are encouraged to explore all different types of fruits and vegetables in order to find fruits and vegetables they do enjoy eating. This is an important lesson for kids as it helps give them choice and allows them to enjoy fruits and vegetables.

Buckwheat then transforms into the 2 fruits he loves to eat. Buckwheat’s transformation is important to show kids that you are what you eat. If you eat healthy, you’ll be healthy.

Mr Albie and Buckwheat now have enough energy to sing the Cub Wings fruits and vegetables song. The song lyrics are:

Fruits and veggies,
Fruits and veggies,
We need to eat them every day.
Fruits and veggies,
Fruits and veggies,
They give you energy to play!

This video is great to learn how to get a toddler to eat fruits and vegetables through positive association, understanding why fruits and vegetables are good for us and to allow kids to explore all kinds of fruits and vegetables.
